Why is Yahoo Answers such a right-wing hellhole these days?

I've been on YA for 13 years. I remember YA being a forum with diverse perspectives represented. Now, it seems like mostly right-wing viewpoints are respected on here. If I post an answer with a left-wing bias, it gets down-voted into oblivion (or even reported). YA seems like a right-wing groupthink hellhole... show more

Would Salma Hayek look better with a black husband?

Her current husband just does not look right for her. He’s much older, white, and uncultured. Salma is half Lebanese and Spanish, so still half white due to her Spanish side but she is so exotic looking and ages like a black woman. I think she would look even more stunning with a fit and handsome black husband... show more

I think she would look even more stunning with a fit and handsome black husband around her age, similar to Kim K and Kanye (another black/middle eastern couple). Her kids would be gorgeous too.

What celebrity do I look alike? ?

What celebrity do I look alike? ?

Best answer: You seem like a naturally pretty girl... Your hair is not done, your makeup is simple, etc... You look pretty with little to no effort, basically. You have some of their traits...but I would not say you look like them...I would say you look like you are from the same tribe.     On a personal level, I used to... show more

You have some of their traits...but I would not say you look like them...I would say you look like you are from the same tribe.     On a personal level, I used to compare myself to celebrities and get excited when people said I look like someone famous. But I slowly became more happy to be me... And it may seem like some corny stuff... but you must live life as being happy you are the only you and you are beautiful! Regardless of society, the boys, btches, etc. Because letting that stuff dictate your life will make you hate yourself when you are old and have wasted time on what will seem then as being a petty thing.  It is hard to get through to you how serious I am because I know my own perception of life at that time. I am still young btw, I was forced out of that way of thinking by an unfortunate life-altering event. Just know that overall, celebrities are not that interesting... start traveling the world and you'll come across many different people and learn who and what really needs respect and adoration.

Don't you miss having a real president?

Things Obama did and Trump didn’t: - won over 50 percent of vote (twice) - rescue economy - initiate longest stretch of job growth in history (still going) - extend health care to 20 million Americans - set example for our children we can be proud of - respected around world

Is my mom having a mid-life crisis and going to eventually cheat?

My mom’s 39 and there’s no easy way for me to say it but she’s very good looking. All my life I hear it from my friends at school how “hot she is”. She’s middle eastern and looks like Salma Hayek but with even fuller lips and the same body-type. Her and my dad have been married 18 years and he was her first time for everything. Their marriage was arranged when they were young and still in Lebanon. But lately I’ve noticed that every time me and my mom are out in public and men with a specific look walk by, she gets all excited and starts fixing her hair and looking her best. These men are always black, fit/muscular, usually tall, and dark-skinned. I’m 17, I can tell when women are checking someone out. She always checks out handsome black guys around her age when my dad isn’t there. The thing that worries me is that interracial romance is normally forbidden or frowned upon in our community despite being Christian. So she never dated outside her race and she’s been in the US since she was 20 and never even have time to date. Even if she thought of dating a black man her family would’ve disowned her no question. But now that she’s grown with her own life I’m scared that she’s lusting after something she never experienced, especially since black men have always been forbidden fruit to her. Her phone search history always has the Kim K adult video with Ray J, and Kim is middle eastern! Do you think my mom is faithful?? I feel like women always want what they can’t or couldn’t have

Since the Mueller investigation was a fraud, should all “convictions” be overturned?

Best answer: It was hardly a fraud considering they charged, tried, and convicted some of Trump's crooked friends!

What would Medicare For All provide me that I don’t currently get with my employer based insurance plan?

Best answer: Under Medicare For All, instead of your employer paying your premium as a benefit, you would pay your premium via increased taxes.  That’s the major difference, though as others have said, less choice, increased waiting periods and fewer services are also likely.
